Daisy was born in Pond Hill, Conyngham Township, Luzerne, Pennsylvania on 1 Mar 1883. She was the daughter of Lewis Cragle. She married Frank Barney on 15 Mar 1902 in Hobbie, Luzerne, Pennsylvania. The wedding ceremony was performed by Rev. J. G. Bench.^[1] The couple raised one daughter, Pearl. Daisy Barney died in Conyngham Township, Luzerne, Pennsylvania on 1 May 1930.
