Charles CREECY was born on the 23 April 1882 [1]in Greenwich, Kent, England.

Marriage

On the 9 July 1910, Charles married Ethel Florence GOATLEY in Christ Church, Greenwich, London, England. He was 28 and lived at 1 Chevening Road, Greenwich. Charles and his father, Alfred CREECY, were a barge builders. Ethel was 23 and lived at 113, Eugenie Road, Rotherhithe. Her father, Henry GOATLEY, was a counterman. The couple were single. The witnesses were Alfred Edward CREECY and Henry GOATLEY. Everyone signed their names. [2] Alfred was Charles's brother. Henry was probably Ethel's brother, but could have been her father.

Married Life

On the night of the 2 April 1911 Charles and Ethel lived at 12 Chevening Road, East Greenwich, South East London. They had been married for more than a year. There were no children. Charles was employed as a barge builder. He was 28 and born in Greenwich, London. Ethel was 24 and was born in Deptford. Their dwelling had three rooms which could have included the kitchen, but not any areas such as the the scullery, landing, lobby, closet, bathroom, warehouse or shop. [3]
In 1939, Charles was a marine surveyor living at 215, Bellingham Road, Lewisham, London, England. He was married and born on the 23 April 1882. [1]. His wife, Ethel Florence, and family were living in Bude, Cornwall. [4]

Last Years

Charles passed away on the 17 February 1951. At that time, he lived in Holland-on-Sea, Essex, England.
