William Dadson was born on the 14th March 1820 at Minster in Sheppey, Kent, England, and christened on the 4th June 1820 at Sheerness Wesleyan Methodist chapel, Sheerness, Kent, England, the son of Richard Dadson.[1] and Sarah Dadson of Minster in Sheppey.[2]
On the 14th August 1841, William "James" Dadson married Caroline Pollard at Ss. Mary & Sexburga, Minster in Sheppey, Kent, England. William James Dadson, bachelor, sawyer of High Street, Mile Town, son of Richard Dadson (sawyer); and Caroline Pollard, spinster of High Street, Mile Town, daughter of Henry James Pollard (coach maker). Witnessed by ? and Ann Wood.[1]
William died at the age of 66 on 9 December 1886 at 13 Bell Alley, Sheerness, Sheppey, Kent.
William was buried on 15 December 1886 in Halfway Cemetery, Sheerness, Isle of Sheppey, Kent.
William Dadson was christened as just William with no middle name. He appears to have adopted the middle name of James by the time he married in 1841.
