Biography
Joseph Clement Darbonne, son of Zenon Clement Darbonne and Marie Celestine Roy, was born December 04, 1841. His birth was recorded at the Opelousas Catholic Church in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. [1]
Joseph Darbonne married Marie Octavie Guillory on November 11, 1865.[2]

The evidence for the parents is circumstantial as there is no other Joseph Darbonne in the area at the time and of the right age. He is most likely the same man who fathered a child, Celestine Darbonne, with Azelie Bello.
