Raymond was born in 1948.[1] He was born to Raymond Devere David, Sr. and Nora Jane Dickey. [2] [3][4]He was the second child, and only son, in a family of three children.
In 1950 he was residing with his parents and 1 sister on a farm on Route 33054 in Winslow Township, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, USA. [5]
On 4 October 1966, he joined the United States Navy and was based in Meridian, Lauderdale, Mississippi, USA. He was honorably discharged on 18 May 1972.[6]
On 24 April 1971, he was wed to Dianne Marie Walburn in Grampian, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, USA by Rev. Joseph E. McTague.[7] Sadly, Dianne passed away on 9 June 1978, after a lengthy illness.
He was married on 2 June 1979 in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania, by Rev. James P McCloskey and Rev. Ernest Conley, to Amy Lynne Doane[8][9]
On 23 December 2010, at the time of his father-in-law's death, he was living in Brockway, Pennsylvania.[10]
On 4 July 2013 at the time of his son Brian, granddaughter Nicole and grandson Brian's deaths he was living in Brockway, Pennsylvania.[11][12][13]
He was employed in the maintenance department of Brockway Glass, Inc. (which became Owens-Brockway) in Brockway, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, USA, from 1972 until his retirement in 2012.[4]
He attended the Church of God in Brockway, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, USA[4]
He passed away in 2014 at Penn Highlands in DuBois, Pennsylvania, USA. [14]Funeral services were held from Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home in Brockway, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, USA by Rev, David Nagele. Ray was first buried in Lakelawn Memorial Park in Reynoldville, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, USA.[1] He was reinterred in Temple Cemetery in 2015. Memorial donations were requested to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, the American Alzheimer's Association or a charity of the donor's choice.[15][3][4]
