OBITUARY
NAPOLEONS.
DEATH OF A POPULAR RESIDENT. The news of the death of Mr Albert David, of Sebastopol, out formerly oi Cambrian Hill, was received here with deep feelings of regret. Though the deceased never actually lived at Napoleons yet. on account of his passings througn with his waggon nearly every day of the year- for many years, he was almost as well known here as ah his native place. —Cambrian Hill. His familiar figure and genial personality will he missed in this part- of the main Ballarat to Rokewood road. On account of his straightforward manner and genial.disposition the late Mr David was-general favorite.with all classes of the community. His death was hot unexpected as he had been ailing for a long time- suffering from that terrible malady—too well known as miner’s complaint phthisis. The deceased in his younger days, for many years followed the calling of a miner whence, he contracted the insidious disease. He was the son of the late- Mr Richard David, and he leaves .a widow the second daughter, of Mr F. W. Robinson, of ‘“Woodlands,” near Napoleons, and five children to mourn their loss. Much sympathy is expressed on all sides with the relatives' in. their sad-bereavement. As showing' the popularity of the late. Mr-David, and the esteem in which be was held, the funeral, which took place last Tuesday, was one of the largest that ever passed through Sebastopol .[4]
