Biography

Sarah Davis was born on 26 Oct 1768^[1] in Connecticut^[2] as the daughter of Thomas Davis (1726-1805)^[3][4] and Martha (Squire) Davis (abt.1729-abt.1805) (See Research Notes), and was later baptized on 19 Mar 1769 in Mansfield, Connecticutt.^[3]

Sarah Davis married Eleazer Huntington III on 20 Sep 1789. Two children were born to this union: Fanny Huntington and Millany (Huntington) Lincoln (aka "Melany" who has been seen with at least 6 different spellings of her given name).^{[5] [2]}

Two children were born to this union: Fanny Huntington Dodge (born 13 Jun 1790) and Millany (Huntington) Lincoln (born 9 Jun 1792.^[5][1]

On 18 Jul 1792, a month after the birth of their 2nd born daughter, Millany (Huntington) Lincoln, Sarah died at the age of 24^[2][3] in Mansfield, Tolland, Connecticut and was buried at the Olde Mansfield Center Cemetery in Mansfield.^[1]

Birth: NEED birth/baptismal record that names Sarah and her biological parents. If anyone can provide a source, your help is needed.

Mother of Sarah Davis: NEED any record that specifies a full mother's maiden name. A marriage record for her parents would also be helpful. The only connection now showing is the FindaGrave Memorial link between Martha (Squire) Davis (abt.1729-abt.1805) and Sarah Davis Huntington AND Sarah Davis Huntington and her husband Eleazer Huntington III and daughter Millany (Huntington) Lincoln (1792-1872).

Date of Death: A one day variance in day exists
