Biography

Lydia Demarest was born in 1689 in Kinderkamack, Bergen, New Jersey to David and Rachel Cresson Des Marets. She married Stephen Albertse Terhune on October 18, 1707, in Hackensack, New Jersey. They had four children in 11 years. She died as a young mother in 1741 in New Barbados Township, Bergen, New Jersey at the age of 52.
