Biography

Roger was the son of David and Lizzie DeVilbiss.^[1] He served in the military.^[2] Records survive from 1918 and 1919.^[3] In 1920, he was working as a mailman. He was living at home with his widowed mother and his sister Edna, a high school teacher.^[4] By 1940, Edna had married. Roger and Edna both lived with their sister Margaret and her husband. Roger was still single and still a mail carrier.^[5]

He died in 1970.^[6][7]
