Researcher's Notes

Abraham Deen was a recruit, who mustered into Company "L" 13th (Consolidated) Illinois Cavalry, on February 20, 1864, at Murphysboro, Illinois. He died nine months later, on October 24, 1864, at Mound City, Illinois. [2]

The family of Abraham Deen of the 13th Illinois Calvary received a pension based on his service to the Union Forces, during the American Civil War. [3]

Private Abraham Deen of the 13th Illinois died October 27, 1864, and is buried in Mound City, Pulaski county, Illinois [4]
