Christopher was the youngest of four sons of John Denman and Mary Elizabeth Williams Denman. [1].
Christopher Denman and Abigail Hendricks Denman had eight children though two, "Benjamin and Lydia, died early. The others, Susanna, Anna, Abigail, John, Huldah, and Mary, all married and had families." [2]
Christopher Denman served in the Revolutionary War. His military service record is in the office of the Adjutant General of New Jersey. [3] He was a private serving Capt. Benjamin Laing and Col. Moses Jaques. He also furnished supplies to the Continental Army.[4]
