Private Christopher Denman served with 1st Regiment, Essex County Militia, New Jersey Militia during the American Revolution.

Pvt. Christopher Denman performed Patriotic Service in New Jersey in the American Revolution.

Christopher was the youngest of four sons of John Denman and Mary Elizabeth Williams Denman. [1].

Christopher Denman and Abigail Hendricks Denman had eight children though two, "Benjamin and Lydia, died early. The others, Susanna, Anna, Abigail, John, Huldah, and Mary, all married and had families." [2]

Christopher Denman served in the Revolutionary War. His military service record is in the office of the Adjutant General of New Jersey. [3] He was a private serving Capt. Benjamin Laing and Col. Moses Jaques. He also furnished supplies to the Continental Army.[4]

Buried Westfield Presbyterian Cemetery/Westfield, Union, New Jersey, USA. [5]
