Biography

Anna di Leonardo is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Onofrio di Leonardo and Angela, whose surname is not yet known. I estimate Anna is born around 1691, twenty years before she marries.

Anna marries Antonino Salemi on 6 September 1711. Her parents are living at this time.

Anna and Antonino have at least four children: Salvatore (c. 1716), Giuseppe (c. 1720), Lucia (c. 1724) and Vincenzo (c. 1727).

I estimate Salvatore is born around 1716, twenty years before he marries for the first time.

I estimate Giuseppe is born around 1720, twenty years before he marries.

Vincenzo marries at least four times, first to Vincenza Gristina, on 19 November 1747. By this time, his parents have both died.

Salvatore remarries, to Rosaria Marino, a widow, on 28 April 1748. He marries for the third time to Rosa Saccaro, on 1 November 1763.

Vincenzo remarries to Mercuria Ruffino, a widow, on 14 February 1773.

Vincenzo is widowed again by the following year, because he remarries on 29 October 1774 to his third wife, Antonina Puccio, who is also a widow.

Vincenzo marries a fourth time, to Pietra Firmaturi, also a widow, on 7 August 1777.
