Daughter of David Doncaster & his wife Mary. It is not clear if Sarah had David by a previous marriage or as a love-child of an unknown partner or of Benjamin Smart.
Sarah (age 24), daughter of David Doncaster, married Benjamin Smart (age 25) on 3 June 1849 in Wisbeach, Cambridgeshire, England.[1]
Sarah lived with her husband and 11 children in Welney, Norfolk, England Born 1824 or 1826 in Wisbech St. Peter; agricultural labourer’s widow aged 58, living at Bedford Bank, Welney in 1881. 1851 census; 1871 census; 1881 census
