"Ernest" Mexton "Ted" Peter was born in 1877 in the settlement of Gwalla, near the Town of Northampton, Mid West Region, Western Australia, Australia^[1]. He was the son of William Dornan and Mary Elizabeth Dalton. He married Frances Mary McKnoe (Jacques) in 1912 in the Town of Toodyay, on the Avon River in the Wheatbelt region, 85 kilometres (53 mi) north-east of the City of Perth, in Western Australia^[2]. The couple don't appear to have had any children. He passed away on the 11 August 1944 at St. John of God Hospital, Salvado Road, in Subiaco, City of Perth, Western Australia. He was 64 years old at the time and the cause of death will be on his Certificate^[3]. His burial takes place on the 14 August 1944 at Karrakatta Cemetery and Crematorium, Railway Road, Karrakatta, City of Perth, Western Australia, Australia. The location of his grave is in the Roman Catholic Area; Section: MC; Grave number: 524^[4][5].
