Biography

William Eborne was born 19 Jan 1666/7, the son of Samuel Eborne Jr and Susanna Trask of Salem, Massachusetts[1] [2]. He, his wife Sarah and son Samuel were all identified in his father's will[3]

His wife was Sarah, surname Unknown[2] [3][4], and four children were noted in his father's will[3], including:

  1. Samuel, born about 1702[3], who married Jane Pickering and Margaret Masury[2]
  2. Mercy, born about 1708, who was baptized in the First Church of Salem June 23, 1728[5], and who married John Giles Jr in 1730[2]
  3. a third child, possibly Isaac, who married Mary Whittemore[2]
  4. a fourth child, possibly Joseph, who married Sarah Masury[2]
