George Elliott removed to America about 1792 and eventually located on the Juniata River. He later settled on a farm near Callensburg, Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
War of 1812 - Receipt roll of Captain Andrew Cochran's Company belonging to the 17th Regiment of the Pennsylvania Militia commanded by Lt. Col. John C Wallace being part of a brigade doing duty at Erie by order and under the direction of Major General David Mead.
George and Elizabeth moved to Toby Township in 1821.
Attended the Callensburg Presbyterian Church where grandson Orrin A. was a minister. George was a Justice of the Peace and gave each of his sons (& daughter Mary Jane as well) a farm as a wedding gift, per the Longwell Bible 1869.
