Ethel Jane English was born 12 Feb1890 in Delaware Township, Sanilac, Michigan. She is the daughter of John Daniel English and Margaret Cowling. ^[1]

Ethel English married Edgar Glenn Kelly 9 Aug 1922 in Detroit, Michigan. Parents: Freeman Kelly/Josephine Grow and John English/ Margaret Cowling.^[2]

1930 census Edgar G Kelly (age 35) and his wife Ethel (age 40) are living in Dearborn, Wayne, Michigan with their children: John E (age 4), Mary J (age 3) and James (1 month old). All were born in Michigan. Their house value is $8000. Edgar is the Assistant Superintendent at an auto factory. Also in home is Ethel's sister Mary English (age 31).^[3]

1940 U.S. Census Edgar G Kelly (age 45) and his wife Ethel (age 50) are living on Kensington Drive in Pleasant Ridge, Oakland, Michigan with their children: John E (age 14), Mary J (age 13) and James (10).
