Erick Alfred Englund was born on 15 May 1880 in Sweden, the son of Erick & Marie Lindstrom Englund. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1903. He was married to Ottilia Elizabeth "Tillie" Lundquist (1887-1953) about 1907. They had five daughters. He worked as a farmer for many years, then later as an attendant at the state fish hatchery. He died on 12 March 1952 in Moose Lake, MN at the age of 71. He was interred at Park Hill Cemetery.
