Sarah was a Friend (Quaker)
Sarah Evans was born on June 15, 1743, in London Grove, Pennsylvania. She married Thomas L Lindley Jr on May 2, 1759, in Chester, Pennsylvania. They had 13 children in 24 years. She died on October 25, 1796, in Chatham, North Carolina, at the age of 53. (Ancestry.com story)."
