Biography
Pauline (Farmer) Higbee is a part of US Black heritage.
Pauline was born in 1920 in Missouri, United States, to James Farmer and Emma Hutchinson[1][2]. In 1925 she lived with her grandparents and divorced father in Council Bluffs, Iowa[3]. By 1930, her father had remarried; she lived with her grandparents and uncle, Ross[4].
In 1938 she married Laurence Lewis in Council Bluffs[2] . In 1940 they lived in Omaha, Nebraska[5].
In 1962 she married Vernon L. Higbee in Los Angeles, California[6]. They divorced in 1969[7].
She died in 1998 and is buried in the Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, California[8].

She is mentioned as Mrs. Pauline Higby of Los Angeles in the 1963 obituary of her brother Addison[9].
