Alice Fermor or Farmar was born circa 1615. She was the daughter of Robert Fermor and Mary Boles.[1] Her father Robert Fermor died in battle at Carlow, Ireland in 1625.[2]
Alice Fermor was married to a man with the surname Scull. Little is known of Mr Scull. According to a small notation in a biography of the Biddle family, [3] Sir John Scull was the progenitor of early colonial immigrant Nicholas Scull.
Alice Fermor Scull was named in the will of her brother, Jasper Farmer, that was dated September 25, 1685 and probated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 17, 1685.[4]
Nicolas Scull, the son of Alice Fermor Scull and the nephew of Jasper Farmer, accompanied the Fermor/Farmer family in their voyage to William Penn's Pennsylvania. The journey across the Atlantic ocean was accomplished in the Bristol Merchant.[5] The Sculls arrived at Chester, Pennsylvania on November 10th,1685.[6]
