Biography
A deed dated May 11, 1726 and recorded in the Lancaster County Registry of Deeds in Book W55-1076 is from his heirs after his death - his wife Mary and children:
- John, and Franie his wife;
- Barbara and her husband Jacob Bare (he signed George Jacob Ber);
- Mary and her husband Henry Vagner; and
- Ann and her husband Thomas Snaveley.
That deed conveys deceased Isaac’s land consisting of 150 acres in today’s East Lampeter. [1] Also gives Lancaster county deed number.
Isaac Frederick was born about 1662, in Eggiwil, Basel, Switzerland[2]. Note: unable to access this web site: 2/7/2024. His father was Jakob Frederick. Isaac married Mary Barr about 1681, most likely in Switzerland. He immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1717[3]Isaac died in Sept. 1721 in Conestoga Twp., PA.[4]Administration of estate 1721 Conestoga Twp., Chester Co., PA Please note: internet page is no longer accessible.[5] Estate inventory taken on 21 Oct, 1721. 30 Nov., 1721 the estate settled.[6]
