Biography
Like other members of the Frederick family in Northern Baltimore County in the first half of the nineteenth century, the name "Bareham", "Barham" or "Barhan" seems to have been used interchangeably as a last name with "Frederick". Shadrach (Shadrack) Frederick's marrage record and some early court documents list his name as "Barhan".
