Biography

Andrew Fridley was born on July 22, 1818^[1] in Virginia^[2] to Charles Fridley and Catherine Temple.

On May 10, 1839, Andrew married Rebecca Taylor in Fountain County, Indiana.^[3]

Rebecca died in 1844.

On May 8, 1845, Andrew married Susan Hasselton in Ross County, Ohio.^[4]

According to the 1850 census, Andrew lived with Susan and their children, America and Isabel, and Andrew's son James in Fort Madison, Iowa.^[2]

According to the 1880 census, Andrew lived with Susan and their children, Franklin, Flora, and Robert in Marion County, Iowa.^[5]

Andrew died on January 13, 1890. He is buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville, Iowa.^[1]
