Biography
Pietro Friscia was baptized in San Vito parish, Sciacca, Provincia di Girgenti, Kingdom of Sicily, 18 April 1589, son of M.o Giuseppe Friscia and Antonina [Venezia]; his sponsors were Biaggio and Caterina Vita.[1] M.ro Petrus Friscia was buried on the grounds of Santa Margarita Church, Sciacca, 22 9bre (November) 1636, aged 58 [sic]: "M.ro Petrus Friscia annor. 58."[2]
Petrum Frixia married at Sciacca (Quartiere Matrice), 8 April 1623, by Reverendo Sacerdote Don Vincenzo Cali Capp.ni, Constantinam [Mineo], relictam qdom Juli lo Cattano. The witnesses were Mag.ro Calogero di Trepi and Rocco Cirulla.[3]
Constantia Mineo was baptized in San Vito parish, Sciacca, 11 9bre (November) 1589, daughter of Antonino Mineo and Narda [Dardaro];[4] her sponsors were Vito Ognibene and Giulia la Muli.[5] Costantina Muleio qdo Petri Frixia was buried on the grounds of San Domenico convent, Sciacca, 15 8bre (October) 1645, aged 50 [sic]: "Costantina mulier qdo Petri Frixia annora 50."[6]
