Shirley Voyles, 73, the daughter of Frank and Carrie Fulbright, was born in Springfield, Mo., August 28, 1929 and departed this life in her home in Springfield, Sunday, July 13, 2003. She was a descendant of the pioneer Fulbright family who were some of the first families to settle in Springfield in 1829. Shirley graduated from Senior High School in 1947. She worked for Blue Cross for 27 years. Shirley was a faithful life long member of South National and East Sunshine Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, William Fulbright, Harvey Dee age 2, and stillborn twin brothers, a sister, Mary Jane Ragsdale; a great-granddaughter, Kiara Voyles; and a son-in-law, Michael D. Kiser. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 yrs, Bill, one son, David and wife Linda, Windsor, Ca; two daughters, Carol Kiser, Springfield, and Cathy Williams and husband, Rick, Ozark; one sister, Francis Levenson, Manhattan, KS; grandchildren, Mike Kiser, Jr.,Wade Kiser, Brad Kiser, Nick Voyles, Chris Williams. and Carrie Teal; Great-grandchildren, Rian Keaton, Leila, Emily, Erika, Austin, Dalton, Whitney, Vanessa, Hannah, and Skylar. Shirley loved being surrounded by her family and her church family. She delighted in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She had a willing spirit and loved to laugh. Her generosity and she will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, uly 16, 2003 in Greenlawn Funeral Home south with John Alley officiating. Burial on Patterson Cemetery. Visitation tonight 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home at 441 W. Battlefield. Memorials are suggest to Fair Haven Childrens Home, Strafford, MO.
