Obituary Glenn Poole Fulbright, 85, of Bowman, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Georgia. Mr. Fulbright was born in Lavonia, Ga on January 15, 1929 son of the late Hoke Fulbright and the late Eva Wooten Fulbright. He was a Spinning Supervisor having worked with Boaz for 38 years. Mr. Fulbright was a very active member of the Bowman Church of God, which he established. He was also the first to established the Bowman Christmas Parade and the Bowman Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Fulbright was a former City Councilman in Bowman having served two terms and he was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Annie Page Fulbright; sons, Gary Fulbright of Bowman, Ga and Eddie Fulbright of Lavonia, GA; five grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fulbright was preceded in death by his children, Richard (Ruby) Fulbright and Debra Fleming; grandson Brandon (Bud) Fulbright, and sister Flora Gomez.
