George was born about 1823. George Jenner Gibbons, child of Thomas Gibbons and Mary Gibbons, was baptised on the 28th of March 1823 in Cromhall, Gloucestershire.[1]
George Jenner Gibbons married Sarah King in 1845. Their marriage was registered in the Mar quarter of 1845 in the Stroud district.[2]
In the 1861 census George J Gibbons (age 38) was the head of household in Nailsworth, Avening, Gloucestershire.[3]
