Biography

The early years

Albert Edward Gilson was born on the 3rd of November 1875^[1] in Etobicoke, York, Ontario^[1] to Thomas Gilson^[1] and Mary Hazelwood^[1]. His mother would sign as the informant to his birth record, and it would be registered the 27th of November, 1875.

At the time of his birth, his father would work as a laborer^[1].
