Biography
Joseph Edward Gingras died young.
Joseph Edward was the son of Grégoire Gingras and Louise Gosselin. He was born 2 October 1842 in the settlement of Bourg-Louis, which would later be called Saint-Raymond, and baptized 9 November 1842 in nearby Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier. His godparents were Jean Plamondon and Josephte Gosselin.[1]
Joseph Edward was almost ten months old when he died 31 July 1843. His burial was recorded the next day in Sainte-Catherine.[2]
Notes
This child's baptism record identifies him as "Joseph Edwin;" the burial record says "Joseph Edward."
