Moïse Goguen was born on 15 Feb 1820 and baptized on 21 Jun 1820 in Cocagne, the son of Anselme Goguen and Angélique Hébert.^[1][2]

Moïse married Margaret Reilly on 23 Nov 1846 in Saint-Louis.^[3][4]

In the 1871 census Moise, age 55, was in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick with his wife Marguerit and children Andree, William, Marguerite, Etienne, Edouard, Charlotte, Anne, Moise, and Patrice.^[5]

In the 1881 census Moses, age 50, labourer, was in Salisbury, Westmorland, New Brunswick with his wife Margret and children Margret, Moses, Patrick, Annie, and Edward.^[6]

In the 1891 census Moez, age 83, was in Cardwell, King's, New Brunswick.^[7]

In the 1901 census Moses, age 78, labourer, was listed with his wife Margrit in Salisbury, Westmorland, New Brunswick.^[8] His date of birth was given as 2 Jun 1832.
