Biography
Eliza Goldsworthy (age 4) in the 1841 census with her parents Richard and Mary, and brother Henry, living in Tywardreath, Cornwall, England. [1]
She emigrated to South Australia with her father on the Lady Bruce in 1846, and married William Rowe Manuel on 4 March 1865 at the residence of John Thomas, Wallaroo Mine, South Australia. [2]
- MANUEL - GOLDSWORTHY. On the 4th March, at the residence of Mr. John Thomas, Wallaroo Mines, by special licence, by the Rev. E. W. Stephens, Mr. William R. Manuel, Wallaroo Mines, to Eliza, daughter of Captain Richard Goldsworthy, Kooringa. [3]
