Biography

Ann Goodwin was the daughter of Andrew Goodwin (a convict) and Lydia Munro and was born on Norfolk Island in 1805. [1]

Ann married William Hardy (Husband 1) on 7 May,1822, at St Davids Anglican Church, Hobart Tasmania Australia. [2]

Her first husband, William Hardy (1796 - 2 Dec,1836), Convict, arrived in Tasmania on the ship Dromedary in 1820. [3]

William Hardy's Convict records are located here: [4]

After William Hardy's death, Ann married John Ulmer (Husband 2) on 16 Jul,1838 at Hobart, Tasmania Australia.

John Ulmer had a child with his second wife Bridget Muse Ulmer. The child, also named John Ulmer, was born January 23, 1845, and died January 23, 1846, and is buried in the same Tasmanian cemetery (in same plot on headstone with Ann) as John's first wife Ann Goodwin Ulmer. [5]
