Biography
Henry Groves was a preacher of the Gospel. He was baptised on June 18, 1819 at Saint David in Exter, Devon, England. He was the older son of Anthony Groves and Mary Thompson.[1]
His married prior to the 1871 Census and his wife Kate was born about 1819 in Cushendall, county Antrim, Ireland.
He died July 2, 1891 at Bankfield in Kendal, Westmorland, England and his Will named his widow Kitty Groves of Bankfield and his brother Edward Kennaway Groves of Redland near Bristol.[2]
