Biography
Jacob Haak was a veteran of the American Revolutionary War. [1] Jacob enlisted as a Private in Captain Christopher Folks !st Company, 5th Battalion, of Rockland Township, Berk county, Pennsylvania. [2]
Jacob Haak was born May 3, 1744, in Pennsylvania, a son of Andreas Haak and Anna Cunigunda, who immigrated to Philadelphia on the ship "Winter," 5 Sept. 1738. Jacob married MARGARETHA DUBBS born 26 Nov 1746 in Lower Milford, Lehigh County, Pennsylvnia [3]

Jacob Haak, Sr. died January 26, 1829, at the age of 84 years and is buried in the Union Cemetery, in Bowers, Berks County, Pennsylvania. There is a photograph of his headstone on his Find A Grave memorial. [7]
