Squire was appointed a Lieutenant of the Militia for the County of Clark in the Indiana Territory on 29 November 1809.[1]

Squire served on the first Grand Jury of the Jefferson Circuit Court in 1811.[2]

Squire acquired real estate on 28 January 1819 from John & Catherine McCleland, SW Qtr. 12-4-10, 50 acres of said Qtr.[3]

Squire died on March 3, 1854 in Milton Township, Jefferson, Indiana aged 65. He is buried in Demaree Cemetery, China, Indiana.
