Burneath M. Wood, 78, Rolla, died Friday, Sept. 30, 1994, in Wedgewood Manor Nursing Home, Cavalier, N.D.
Burneath Halliday was born March 23, 1916, in Rolla, the daughter of John and Mary (Robertson) Halliday. She married Reginald Wood June 18, 1965, in Bottineau, N.D., and they farmed in rural Rolla. The couple later moved to Rolla.
Her husband survives with sons Leo Roberge, Lynnwood, Wash., Larry Anderson, address unknown, and Leslie Anderson, Bisbee, N.D.; daughters Marie Roberge, Rolette, N.D., Frances Ballantyne, Billings, Mont., and Loretta Kemble, living in Washington; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters Minnie Martin and Ether Miller, both of Rolla, Dorothy DeMontigny, Belcourt, N.D., Pearl Lizotte, Dunseith, N.D., Dollie Eggl, Egeland, N.D., and Millie Thomas, living in Oregon.
She was preceded in death by brothers Johnny and Harvey; and sisters Lena Anderson and Kathleen Wilkie.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday in Niewoehner Funeral Home, Rolla.
Visitation: One hour before services in the funeral home.
Burial: Rolla Cemetery.
