Born Q4 1840 in Swalecliffe, Kent.[1]
Married Harriet Ridge in Rochester, Kent on 6 March 1868.[2]
Admitted to Medway Union Workhouse on 1 Aug 1905. Occupation seaman.[3]
1911 Census: Retired ship's fireman, widower, living with daughter Caroline and her husband Robert Holding in Chatham, Kent.[4]
Admitted once more to the workhouse on 28 Sept 1914, where he died in December that year.[5]
