Biography

Frances Elizabeth Hanks was born on November 21, 1852 in Anderson County, South Carolina.^[1] She was the daughter of Luke Hanks and Martha King. At age 8, she was in her parent's home in Rigiment 4, Anderson County, South Carolina along with her siblings.^[2]

She married John Preston Tribble (1844-1881). They had at least 5 children.
