Biography
Gladys was born on October 26, 1910 in Lansing, Ingham County to parents Alvin and Emma Schuchaskie Hannah. During 1921 her parents divorced and she lived with her mother. In 1930 at the age of 19 years old she was employed as a stenographer working in an auto factory in Lansing, Michigan. She was boarding with the Clark family.
Her first marriage was to Russell Kershner during 1930 and they divorced on March 26, 1936. Her Second marriage was to Walter E. Treichel on September 4, 1937 in Angola, Indiana. Their first child was Walter Alvin born on July 31, 1938, Gary Lee on December 12, 1939 and Barbara Louise on December 14, 1940. Around 1947 the family moved to Jackson, Michigan to take up residence there living at 1221 First St.
She passed away on December 4, 2000 while resing with her son Walter and Wife Barbara, her remains were cremated
