The Family Register has a newsclipping in it:

Vorderuhlberg, 24 April [1915]. Gestern vormittag 9 Uhr brach in dem Anwesen des Vandwirts Georg Härpfer auf noch unaufgeklärte Weise Feuer aus, das so nasch um sich griff sodaß das Wohnhaus mit angebauter Scheune vollständig niederbrannte. Das gesamte Mobiliar, sowie sämtliche Futtervorräte und Fahrniffe fielen dem Feuer zum Opfer. Nur das Vieh konnte noch gerettet werden. Ein Kalb, das sich losriß, kam mit der elektr. Beitung, die vom haus herabfiel, in Berührung und wurde sofort getütet. Das stark gefährdete Nachbaranwesen des Vandwirts Brenner blieb verschont.

The gist of the translation appears to be that on 24 Apr 1915 at 9am: there was an unexpected fire on Georg Härpfer's estate. His house and attached barn were completely destroyed. All the furniture, food and supplies were destroyed and only the cattle (and presumably the family themselves) could be saved. The neighboring Brenner house was luckily spared.
