Mrs. Bryant, former Hospital Trustee, Dies. 1

SHORT HILLS - Mrs. Anna Barbara Hanselmann Bryant, 87, of 477 Longhill Drive, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur E. Engler, with whom she lived. 1

Widow of the late Dr. Robert B. Bryant, former Dover dentist, Mrs. Bryant was a member of the board of trustees of the Dover General Hospital for 25 years. She was also the chief operator with the N. J. Bell Telephone Co. in Succasunna for 35 years. She retired in 1936. 1

Born in Yonkers, N.Y., she lived most of her life in the Succasunna-Dover area and moved from Dover in 1963. She was instrumental in organizing the Roxbury Township Auxiliary at Dover General Hospital. Mrs. Bryant was also a member of the Emblem Club, BPOE of Dover. She was a lifelong member of the Succasunna Presbyterian Church. 1

In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Engler, she is also survived by a son, Robert B. Bryant II of Lake Hopatcong, four grandsons and eight great-grandchildren. 1

Funeral services will be held in Succasunna Presbyterian Church at 2p.m. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Mount Freedom. Arrangements were made by Bermingham Funeral Home, 249 S. Main St., Wharton. 1
