Richard Hatton was baptized: Feb. 17, 1604/5 in Frodsham, Cheshire[1][2]
His father was Rector of Lymm, Cheshire at the time of his marriage to Margaret Domville.[3]
Occupation
Richard Hatton was a rector and also the son of Robert Hatton, the Rector of Lymm, according to his daughter, Barbara's, baptismal record transcribed in the Cheshire Parish Register Database.[4]
He married Margaret Hatton. Richard Hatton was deceased by 1649 when Margaret emigrated to Maryland.
Before 1633 she married Richard Hatton, son of the Rev. Robert Hatton[1] (rector of Lymm, Cheshire[3]).
Margaret Domville was the fourth daughter of Edward Domville,[6] Esq., of Lymme, Cheshire, and Eleanor Leycester.[1] Her birth date is uncertain but her parents' 6th daughter Katherine was baptised in November 1611[7] which suggests Margaret was born before 1610.
Margaret was a legatee under the will of her father, dated 6 May 1639: "Next I give and bequeath unto my daughters Margaret Hatton, Elizabeth Domvyl, Elenor Domvyl, Susan Domvyl, Mary Domvyl, Sara Domvyl, Anne Domvyl, and Martha Domvyl all the whole remaynder and surplusage of my sayd goods and sayd Rents of four hundred pounds reserved in my power to charge my Lands with those affyxed in the indenture affyxed to be divided among them by equal portions to bee payed unto them or to their (illegible) as it shall bee raysed and become due according to the priority of their birth and yeares." This made Margaret and her sisters residuary legatees after specific bequests to other family members. (The full text of the will is on her father's profile.)[1][8]
1639 Bequest from Brother
In 1639 Richard was bequeathed £40 by his brother Robert Hatton "in respect of his greate chardge of Children".[1][9] Richard died after 1645 (when he was a legatee under the will of his brother Edward)[10] and by 1649 (when Margaret emigrated).[1][11]
1648 Death
Richard Hatton died in 1648 in London England.[12][13]
1649 Emigration of Widow
After Richard's death, Margaret Hatton, widow of Richard Hatton, emigrated to Maryland.
In 1649 Margaret, then a widow, went to Maryland with her six children[1] (Susanna had presumably died by then), her servant John Perryn, and her brother-in-law Thomas Hatton.[11][14] She settled in St Mary's County.[1]
Margaret married by Dec 1658, Lieut. Richard Banks in Maryland.[15]

This Richard Hatton-4 probably did not go to Maryland in 1649, if ever. Thomas Hatton-439, transported Margaret Hatton, widowed sister-in-law and her children. One of the children was named Richard, which may have confused immigration lists.
It is possible he came over with Thomas in 1648, died, and his widow arriving in 1649.
No such Richard Hatton appears in the Career files of Dr. Lois Green Carr and she probably would not have missed someone as prominent as Thomas Hatton's brother.
Hatton-438 and Hatton-4 appear to represent the same person because: with so little data and an orphaned profile, I would merge using the data on Hatton-4
Hatton-245 and Hatton-4 appear to represent the same person because: same father and son, much of the data on both profiles is unsourced, need to validate all the data and find sources to prove dates and places
