Biography

Eva Jane Henderson was born on 30 July 1879 in Wright, Minnesota, United States. She was the daughter of Thomas Henderson and Sarah Smithson.

In the 1880 census Eva (10 months old) was a daughter in the household of Thomas Henderson in Monticello, Wright, Minnesota, United States.^[1]

By 1885, the family had moved to Big Lake, Sherburne, Minnesota.^[2] In the 1895 Minnesota census Eva (age 15) was in Big Lake, Sherburne.^[3]

Eva Jane Henderson married Harley H. Chilson on 11 January 1899 in Sherburne, Minnesota.^[4] They were the parents of:

• Elizabeth Adelaide "Eliza" Chilson Martin (1905-1978)
• Mabel Hattie Chilson Brandon (1908- )

By the 1940 US census Eva (age 60) and her husband had moved to Salmon Creek, Clark, Washington.^[10]

Eva Jane Henderson Chilson died on 15 January 1950 at the age of 70 in Vancouver, Clark, Washington.^[11] Her body was cremated in Portland, Oregon.
