- Birth William Hill was born in Georgia, Franklin, Vermont, USA. in 1825. His parents were Charlotte (Cook) Hill and Heman Hill and their household was in Georgia, Franklin, Vermont where Heman was born and they were living and farming in 1830. In the household including William were 4 boys 5- 10 and 1 11- 15. See their 1930 US Census:[1]
- 1940 US Census, Chateaugay, Franklin, New York is now the residence of the Heman Hill family and William was a teenager in the 13 person household. [2]
- William married Sarah Percy about 1844 (estimated)
