Alexander Hitt, son of Martin Hitt and Molly James, was born about 1806 in Fauquier County, Virginia. He married Incy Curtis. Alexander died January 24, 1882 in Clarke County, Iowa and was buried in Last Chance Cemetery, Last Chance, Lucas, Iowa[1]
