Catherine "Kate" Hodgins (married name Gordon) was born on 29 January 1859 in Bucknall Station, Carisbrook, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Catherine (Woods) Hodgins and George Hodgins.^[1]

She married Thomas George Gordon in 1876 in Victoria.^[2] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}
