Go to the profiles you would like to be added to the trusted list for, click the Tree and Tools tab, scroll down to the pace to ask to be added to the trusted list. If the member does not reply in a week then file an unresponsive profile manager request. Not all members are active every day and other are just not active.

If the profile is an open profile and having signed the Honor Code you can edit any open profile providing an explanation as to the changes and a source citation to prove the facts of the change(s) it is best to collaborate with the profile manager(s) if they answer.

I see you manage the profile for your father and do not understand about merging his account. We only merge a profile into another if it is a duplicate.
Some profile managers are not active, others are only active on occasion, some are active every day. I would request to be added to the trusted list for your family/ancestor's profiles and if you do not receive a reply in a few days file an unresponsive profile manager request by clicking the profiles Family Tree and Tools tab and scrolling down to where you see "Trusted List Request Form" and click to sent a request. The same if you do not receive a reply in about two weeks to your request go to the profile and scroll down to "Unresponsive Profile Manager Request Form"and subit it with a expalnation of why you would like to be added to the trusted list.
