Biography
Angeline was born about 1820. She passed away in 1879.
Research Notes: It appears Angeline Hodgins was married at least three times. Her first marriage was to William Stites in Jefferson County, KY on 10 May 1839. A note on the marriage record says Angeline is "an orphan, living with her best friend, Jno. W. Smyser, who consents to marriage." She had at least one daughter from this marriage, Eliza (Stites) Grafton (b. 1843). She married again on 3 Feb 1849 to Jacob B. Risinger (Reisinger) in Jefferson County, KY. She had at least four children from this marriage, William Reisinger (b. 1850), Lizzie Reisinger (b. 1855), Jasper Reisinger (Jasper Taylor) (b. 1853), and Nancy B. Reisinger (Nancy Taylor) (b. 1859). Jacob Resinger died sometime before 1860 and in that year Angeline and her children were all living with her eldest daughter, Eliza, and her husband, William Grafton. On 26 April 1864, Angeline married Irason Taylor in Edgar County, Illinois. In 1870, Angeline was living with Irason Taylor in Wabash, Clark, IL with her children Jasper and Nancy, and other children, perhaps from Irason Taylor's previous marriage, Mary (b. 1855), Joseph (b. 1857), and Hattie (b. 1856).
