Phoebe (Holme) Twentyman was born in England.

Birth
Phoebe Holme was born on 4 September 1765 and baptized on 3 October 1765 in St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire. She was the daughter of Laurence Holme and Phebe Hilliard. ^[1]

Marriage
Phoebe, a spinster from Liverpool, married John Middleton Twentyman, a bachelor cooper, also from Liverpool, on 6 August 1785. They were married in the parochial chapel of St. Nicholas in the parish of Liverpool in Lancashire, England. Their marriage bond states that both were of full age (21 years and upwards), however, based on her birth record, Phoebe would have been 19 years old. ^{[2] [3]}

Death
According to an unsourced entry on FamilySearch, Phoebe’s husband John passed away at age 71 on the 5th of May 1827 at Bermondsey in Surrey. He was buried on 7 May in the parish of Bermondsey. His last residence was listed as Salisbury Street. Phoebe would follow him to the grave a short seven months later.

Phoebe Twentyman, of Salisbury Street, passed away in December 1827. She was buried on 6 December in the parish of Bermondsey in Surrey. Her burial record lists her age as 69, whereas, based on her birth record, she would have been 61 years old. ^[15]
